Hotels

Hotel rooms have been reserved at two downtown hotels.  Both hotels are part of the Marriott chain.  Both are recently built.  Both are suite hotels, and both are easily accessible (i.e., less than a 1 mile walk) to most of the activities we have planned.  As it turns out, both hotels are in the same street block.

The first hotel is the Fairfield Inn and Suites, Louisville Downtown.  To go to the hotel website just click on this link: Fairfield Inn and Suites.  Here you can find the hotel address and phone number as well as more information about the hotel.  There is no airport shuttle.  On site parking is $9 a day.  A taxi from the airport is around $20.  If you were wondering, it won't be necessary to rent a car to get you to the synagogue or all the festivities.

The cost of a room at the Fairfield Inn and Suites is $99 per night.  To get this room rate just mention the "Lerner Bar Mitzvah".  Rooms are being held until October 1, 2010.

The second hotel is the SpringHill Suites, Louisville Downtown.  To go to the hotel website just click on this link: SpringHill Suites.   Here you can find the hotel address and phone number as well as more information about the hotel.  There is no airport shuttle.  On site parking is $9 a day.  A taxi from the airport is around $20.  If you were wondering, it won't be necessary to rent a car to get you to the synagogue or all the festivities.

The cost of a room at the SpringHill Suites is $109 per night.  To get this room rate just mention the "Lerner Bar Mitzvah".  Rooms are being held until October 1, 2010.

In a future post, I will provide some alternative hotel choices for those guests who would like something truly unique to Louisville!
